Stop scrolling load boards at midnight

Give us the truck and we will keep it loaded. We find the freight and we work the rate, because the first number offered is not the rate. The broker paperwork and the check calls come to us. When you want to be home, we route you home.

Before we take a dollar, we walk you through your real cost of operations, so you know the rate you can never go under. Then your dispatcher works from that number.

Already have a portal account? You will land straight on the signup. Cancel anytime.

Who we dispatch, before you spend any time on this

Foundation Freight dispatches open deck: flatbed, step deck, RGN, Conestoga. We also work hotshots at 40' and up, CDL or non-CDL.

That is the whole list. If you run dry van, reefer, power only, a box truck, a straight truck, a sprinter or a cargo van, or a deck under 40 feet, we are not the right shop for you. We would rather say so now than dispatch your truck badly, and the signup hands you to a dispatcher who works your market instead.

You also need active operating authority in your own name. Signup checks your USDOT number against the FMCSA record and fills your company name and docket number in from it. If your authority is not live yet, we file it as a separate service and you can come back when it clears.

    What your dispatcher actually does

Finds the freight and argues about the rate

Your dispatcher works the boards and the broker relationships, in the lanes you told us you want. Every load gets negotiated. First offer is a starting point, not a rate.

    Handles the broker side

Carrier setup packets, insurance certificates, rate confirmations, and the check calls that come at the worst hour of the day. You drive. We answer the phone.

Works out of your inbox, not ours

Rate confirmations and setup packets land in an email address in your company name, which you set up during signup. Brokers file you as the carrier, because you are. Nothing about your business gets built inside somebody else's account.

Routes you home when you want to be home

Tell us the day you need to be back and where back is. Getting you loaded toward the house is part of the job, not a favor you have to ask for.

Puts every load in your portal

An offer shows up: the rate, the stops, the miles. You accept it or you decline it. From there the load carries its own documents, a message thread with your dispatcher, a status you update from the road, and a printable dispatch sheet.

Shows you the money before it moves

Each load shows the gross rate and what you keep. Your weekly statement lists the loads it covers and the fee it charged, so the bill is never a surprise on the day it lands.

A dispatcher who does not know your cost is guessing with your truck

Most carriers who go under were busy the whole time. They ran cheap freight, covered the fuel, and never worked out what the truck actually costs to put on the road once the payment, the insurance, the tires, the maintenance and their own pay are in the number.

So signup makes you work it out. Your cost per mile and your floor rate go on file before you pick a plan, and your dispatcher negotiates from that number. When a broker offers under it, the answer is no, and it is your number saying no, not our opinion.

You can run the same math right now, free and without an account, in the cost per mile calculator.

    What it costs

Two ways to pay, and you pick at signup. Your week starts the day you sign up, so your billing day is your day, not ours.

    Flat weekly

    $375 per truck, per week

Charged at the start of each week, before we start booking.

    • Your cost is the same whether we book you $4,000 or $9,000 in a week.
    • Every dollar above the flat fee is yours. We don't take a cut of a good week.
    • Add or drop a truck any time and the weekly total follows.
    • Charged today for the week ahead, then every 7 days after. Your week starts the day you sign up, not on our calendar.

    Percentage of each load

8% of the gross rate on every load we book

Totaled up and charged on your 7th day, then every 7 days after.

    • Slow week means a small bill. No loads booked means nothing owed.
    • You see the exact rate on every load, so the fee is never a mystery.
    • We put a card on file now and charge the week's total on your 7th day.
    • Your week starts the day you sign up, so your billing day is your day, not ours.
    • Nothing is charged today.

The two plans cost the same at about $4,688 of gross in a week on one truck. Under that, the percentage is cheaper. Over it, the flat fee is. Signup does this math with your own numbers before you choose.

Either way, the fee is billed to you. It never comes out of a load payment, so the broker or your factor pays you exactly what the rate confirmation says. Cancel any time from your billing page. If a payment fails, dispatching stops until the card clears.

    How you start

Make an account with your USDOT number. That takes a minute, and it costs you nothing. Setup happens inside your portal, where we ask what you pull, where you run, and what your truck costs you, then show you both prices and the agreement.

You can stop anywhere and come back. Nothing is charged until you sign, and if we are not a fit for your equipment, you will know that in the first minute.

    Questions people ask first

    What equipment do you dispatch?

Foundation Freight dispatches open deck: flatbed, step deck, RGN, Conestoga. We also work hotshots at 40' and up, CDL or non-CDL. If you run dry van, reefer, power only, a box truck, a straight truck, a sprinter or cargo van, or a deck under 40 feet, we are not the right shop. The signup tells you that up front and hands you to a dispatcher who works that market.

    What does it cost?

$375 per truck per week flat, charged at the start of your week, or 8% of the gross rate on every load we book, totaled and charged every 7 days. The two cost the same at about $4,688 of gross in a week. Below that the percentage is cheaper. Above it the flat fee is.

Do you take your fee out of my load payment?

No. The broker pays you, or your factor, the same as always. We bill you for dispatching. We never sit between you and your money.

    Are you a broker?

No. Foundation Freight dispatches as your agent, working under your authority and your insurance, and the agreement says so in writing. A dispatcher who brokers freight without authority is breaking federal law, and we are not doing that with your company on the line.

Do I need my own authority?

Yes. You need active operating authority in your own name, and signup checks it against the FMCSA record. If you are not there yet, we file authority as a separate service, and you can come back when it clears.

    Am I locked in?

No. Cancel any time from the billing page in your portal. There is no contract term and no exit fee. If a payment fails, dispatching stops until the card clears, so keep a good one on file.

Can I keep booking my own loads?

Yes. Plenty of carriers run a broker they already like and let us fill the rest of the week. On the percentage plan you only pay on the loads we book.

One truck or ten, the phone stops being your job

Start the signup and you will know inside a minute whether we are a fit for what you pull. If we are not, you leave with a name and a number for somebody who is.
